NGC 1890
NGC 1890 is an open star cluster located in the constellation Doradus. It was discovered by the astronomer John Herschel in 1834. This cluster is part of the Large Magellanic Cloud, a satellite galaxy of the Milky Way. NGC 1890 contains several young, hot stars and is estimated to be around 100 million years old.
The cluster is situated approximately 200,000 light-years from Earth. NGC 1890 is notable for its relatively high concentration of stars, which makes it an interesting target for astronomers studying stellar formation and evolution. Its brightness and proximity allow for detailed observations using telescopes.
