NCEA Level 1
NCEA Level 1 is the first level of the National Certificate of Educational Achievement in New Zealand. It is typically taken by students in Year 11, around the age of 15 or 16. This qualification assesses students' knowledge and skills across various subjects, including English, Mathematics, and Science.
Students can earn credits by completing assessments, which may include exams, projects, and presentations. Achieving NCEA Level 1 is important as it lays the foundation for further education and training, allowing students to progress to NCEA Level 2 and beyond.
