Mwai Kibaki
Mwai Kibaki was a Kenyan politician who served as the third President of Kenya from 2002 to 2013. Born on November 15, 1931, he was a member of the Kenya African National Union and later founded the Democratic Party. Kibaki was known for his focus on economic reforms and infrastructure development during his presidency.
Before becoming president, Kibaki held various government positions, including Minister of Finance and Deputy Prime Minister. He played a significant role in shaping Kenya's post-independence policies and was instrumental in the country's transition to a multiparty democracy in the early 1990s. Kibaki passed away on April 21, 2023.
