Muzaffarid dynasty
The Muzaffarid dynasty was a Persian dynasty that ruled parts of Iran during the 14th century. Founded by Muzaffar al-Din Shah Shuja, it emerged after the decline of the Ilkhanate. The dynasty is known for its contributions to Persian culture and architecture, particularly in the region of Fars.
The Muzaffarids faced challenges from rival powers, including the Timurid Empire. Despite these conflicts, they maintained a degree of autonomy and influence in the region until their eventual decline in the late 15th century, paving the way for the rise of other dynasties in Iran.
