Museum Nasional
Museum Nasional, also known as the National Museum of Indonesia, is located in Jakarta. It was established in 1778 and is one of the oldest museums in Southeast Asia. The museum houses a vast collection of artifacts that represent Indonesia's rich cultural heritage, including archaeological finds, ethnographic items, and historical relics.
The museum's main building features a grand neoclassical design and is often referred to as "Gajah" due to the life-sized elephant statue at its entrance. Visitors can explore various exhibits that showcase Indonesia's diverse cultures, including traditional clothing, pottery, and ancient artifacts from the Majapahit and Srivijaya empires.
