Muong Language
The Muong language is a member of the Austroasiatic language family, primarily spoken by the Muong people in northern Vietnam. It is closely related to Vietnamese and shares many linguistic features, making it part of the broader Vietnamese language group.
Muong is primarily an oral language, though it has a written form using the Latin alphabet. It is used in daily communication, cultural expressions, and traditional practices among the Muong community. Efforts are being made to preserve and promote the language, as it faces challenges from dominant languages in the region.
