Municipalities of Venezuela
Venezuela is divided into 335 municipalities, which are the smallest administrative divisions in the country. Each municipality is governed by a mayor and a municipal council, responsible for local governance and public services. They vary in size and population, reflecting the diverse geography and demographics of the nation.
These municipalities are grouped into 23 states and the Capital District. Each state has its own unique characteristics, including culture, economy, and natural resources. The municipalities play a crucial role in local administration, providing essential services such as education, health care, and infrastructure development.
