Mundu
Mundu is a traditional garment worn primarily in parts of India, particularly in the southern regions. It is a long piece of cloth, usually made from cotton or silk, that is wrapped around the waist and tied in place. The mundu is often white or cream in color, symbolizing purity, and is commonly worn by men during festivals, ceremonies, and daily activities.
In addition to its cultural significance, the mundu is also known for its comfort and breathability, making it suitable for the warm climate of Kerala and other tropical areas. Variations of the mundu may include decorative borders or patterns, reflecting local styles and traditions.
