Mumbles Lighthouse
Mumbles Lighthouse is located on the Mumbles Head in Swansea, Wales. It was first built in 1794 to guide ships safely into Swansea Bay. The lighthouse stands at a height of 20 meters and features a distinctive white tower with a red band. It is an important landmark for both navigation and tourism in the area.
The lighthouse is powered by a solar-powered light system, which flashes every 10 seconds. It is managed by the Trinity House, a charity responsible for the safety of navigation in the waters around England and Wales. Visitors can enjoy scenic views of the coastline from the surrounding area.
