Mukti Bahini
The Mukti Bahini was a guerrilla resistance movement that fought for the independence of Bangladesh during the Bangladesh Liberation War in 1971. Formed by Bengali nationalists, it aimed to liberate the region from Pakistan following widespread oppression and violence against the Bengali population. The movement gained significant support from the local population and international communities.
