Mouvement Réformateur
The Mouvement Réformateur (MR) is a liberal political party in Belgium, founded in 2002. It emerged from the merger of the Francophone Liberal Reformist Party and the Democratic Federalist Party. The MR advocates for individual freedoms, economic liberalism, and social progress, aiming to promote a competitive economy while ensuring social justice.
The party primarily represents the Francophone community in the Walloon region and the Brussels-Capital region. It participates in both regional and federal governments, often focusing on issues such as education, healthcare, and public services. The MR seeks to balance economic growth with social responsibility.
