Mount Vulcan
Mount Vulcan is a stratovolcano located on the island of Vulcano in the Aeolian Islands, Italy. It is known for its fumaroles, which are openings in the Earth's crust that emit steam and gases. The volcano last erupted in 1888, and its activity has significantly decreased since then, making it a popular destination for tourists.
The mountain stands at about 500 meters (1,640 feet) above sea level and offers hiking trails that lead to its summit. Visitors can enjoy stunning views of the surrounding islands and the Mediterranean Sea. The area is also rich in geological features, including sulfur deposits and volcanic rocks.
