Mount Mitchell
Mount Mitchell is the highest peak in the eastern United States, standing at 6,684 feet (2,037 meters) above sea level. Located in the Black Mountains of North Carolina, it is part of Mount Mitchell State Park, which offers various recreational activities such as hiking, camping, and birdwatching.
