Motorcycle History
The history of motorcycles began in the late 19th century, with the invention of the first motorized bicycle. In 1885, Gottlieb Daimler and Wilhelm Maybach created the "Reitwagen," considered the first true motorcycle. This early design featured a small engine mounted on a wooden frame, paving the way for future developments in motorcycle technology.
By the early 20th century, motorcycle production expanded, with companies like Harley-Davidson and Indian Motorcycle emerging in the United States. The popularity of motorcycles grew during the World Wars, as they were used for military purposes. Today, motorcycles are a popular mode of transportation and recreation worldwide.
