Mosquito Control
Mosquito control refers to methods used to reduce or manage mosquito populations to prevent the spread of diseases such as malaria, dengue fever, and Zika virus. Common techniques include eliminating standing water where mosquitoes breed, using insect repellents, and applying larvicides to water sources.
In addition to these methods, mosquito traps and insecticides can be employed to target adult mosquitoes. Community efforts, such as public awareness campaigns, also play a crucial role in educating people about prevention strategies and encouraging them to take action against mosquito breeding sites in their neighborhoods.
