Moshe (Moses)
Moshe, commonly known as Moses, is a significant figure in the Abrahamic religions, particularly in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. He is traditionally credited with leading the Israelites out of slavery in Egypt and receiving the Ten Commandments from God on Mount Sinai. His life is detailed in the Hebrew Bible, especially in the books of Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy.
Moses is often regarded as a prophet and a lawgiver. His story includes miraculous events, such as parting the Red Sea and providing water from a rock. He is also known for his role in establishing the laws and practices that would shape the Israelite community and their relationship with God.
