Montaña de la Mesa
Montaña de la Mesa, or Table Mountain, is a flat-topped mountain located in Cape Town, South Africa. It rises about 1,086 meters (3,563 feet) above sea level and is a prominent landmark in the region. The mountain is part of the Table Mountain National Park and is known for its unique biodiversity, featuring numerous plant species, some of which are endemic to the area.
Visitors can access the summit via a cable car or hiking trails, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape, including the Atlantic Ocean and the city of Cape Town. The mountain is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognized for its natural beauty and ecological significance.
