Montaña de Celaque National Park
Montaña de Celaque National Park is located in western Honduras, near the town of Gracias. Established in 1987, the park covers approximately 1,500 square kilometers and is known for its diverse ecosystems, including cloud forests and pine forests. The park is home to various wildlife species, such as the endangered Honduran white bat and numerous bird species.
The park's highest peak, Cerro de Celaque, reaches an elevation of 2,849 meters, making it the tallest mountain in Honduras.
