Mohawk Tribe
The Mohawk Tribe is one of the original five nations of the Iroquois Confederacy, located primarily in what is now New York State and parts of Canada. Known for their strong warrior culture, the Mohawks played a significant role in the history of North America, particularly during the American Revolution.
Traditionally, the Mohawk people lived in longhouses and practiced agriculture, hunting, and fishing. They are recognized for their unique contributions to art, music, and governance, and continue to maintain their cultural heritage through various community programs and events.
