Mohammad Azharuddin
Mohammad Azharuddin is a former Indian cricketer and captain, known for his elegant batting style and exceptional fielding skills. He played for the Indian national cricket team from 1984 to 2000, participating in over 300 One Day Internationals (ODIs) and 99 Test matches. Azharuddin was particularly famous for his ability to play spin bowling and his record of scoring three consecutive centuries in his first three ODIs.
After retiring from cricket, Azharuddin entered politics and became a member of the Indian National Congress. He has also served as the president of the Hyderabad Cricket Association. Despite facing controversies, including a match-fixing scandal, Azharuddin remains a significant figure in Indian cricket history.
