Mohamedou Ould Slahi
Mohamedou Ould Slahi is a Mauritanian author and former detainee at Guantanamo Bay. He was held for 14 years without charge, during which he wrote a memoir titled "Guantánamo Diary," detailing his experiences and treatment while imprisoned.
Slahi was captured in 2001 and accused of terrorism-related activities, but he was never formally charged.
