Miyazawa Kenji
Miyazawa Kenji was a Japanese poet and author born on August 27, 1896, in Hanamaki, Iwate Prefecture. He is best known for his children's literature, which often features themes of nature, kindness, and the importance of imagination. His most famous works include the stories "Night on the Galactic Railroad" and "The Restaurant of Many Orders."
In addition to writing, Miyazawa was also a farmer and a dedicated advocate for social welfare. He believed in the interconnectedness of all living things and often incorporated this philosophy into his writings. He passed away on September 21, 1933, but his literary legacy continues to inspire readers today.
