Misti Volcano
Misti Volcano is a prominent stratovolcano located near the city of Arequipa in southern Peru. Standing at approximately 5,822 meters (19,101 feet) above sea level, it is one of the most recognizable peaks in the region. Misti is known for its symmetrical cone shape and is often referred to as the "Guardian of Arequipa."
The volcano is considered active, with its last eruption occurring in 1985. Misti is a popular destination for hikers and climbers, offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape.
