Ming and Qing
The Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) was a significant period in Chinese history known for its cultural and economic prosperity. It followed the decline of the Yuan Dynasty and is famous for its advancements in arts, literature, and trade. The dynasty is also recognized for its construction of the Great Wall of China and the establishment of a strong centralized government.
The Qing Dynasty (1644-1912) succeeded the Ming and was the last imperial dynasty of China. Founded by the Manchu people, it expanded China's territory and influence. The Qing era is noted for its rich cultural achievements, including the development of Chinese painting and literature, but it also faced challenges such as internal rebellions and foreign invasions.
