Min Dialect
Min Dialect is a group of Chinese dialects primarily spoken in the Fujian province and by overseas Chinese communities. It is one of the major branches of the Sinitic language family and includes several varieties, such as Hokkien and Teochew.
The Min dialects are known for their distinct phonetic features and vocabulary, which can vary significantly even within the same region. Due to historical migration, Min speakers can also be found in places like Taiwan and Southeast Asia, where they have influenced local cultures and languages.
