Milan Nedić
Milan Nedić was a Serbian politician and military officer, best known for his role during World War II. He served as the Prime Minister of the Government of National Salvation in the territory of Serbia from 1941 to 1944, a government that collaborated with the Axis powers. Nedić's administration was controversial, as it was seen by many as a puppet regime under German control.
After the war, Nedić was captured and tried by the Yugoslav government. He was convicted of war crimes and collaboration, leading to his execution in 1946. His legacy remains contentious, with debates surrounding his actions and motivations during a tumultuous period in Serbian history.
