Mike Connors
Mike Connors was an American actor best known for his role as detective Mannix in the television series of the same name, which aired from 1967 to 1975. Born on August 15, 1925, in Fresno, California, he had a successful career in both film and television, appearing in various genres.
Before his acting career, Connors served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He initially pursued a career in basketball, playing for UCLA, but later transitioned to acting, where he gained fame for his tough-guy persona and charismatic performances. Connors passed away on January 26, 2021.
