Chuck Connors
Chuck Connors was an American actor, professional basketball player, and baseball player, born on April 10, 1921. He is best known for his role as Lucas McCain in the popular television series The Rifleman, which aired from 1958 to 1963. Connors was notable for being one of the first athletes to successfully transition into acting.
Before his acting career, Connors played in the NBA for the Boston Celtics and later in the MLB for teams like the Chicago Cubs and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
