Mihai I
Mihai I, also known as Mihai the Brave, was the last reigning king of Romania. He was born on October 25, 1921, and first ascended to the throne in 1927. His reign was marked by significant political changes, including the rise of communism in Eastern Europe after World War II.
Mihai I was forced to abdicate in 1947 when the communist regime took control of Romania. He lived in exile for several decades before returning to his homeland in 1992. Mihai I passed away on December 5, 2017, and is remembered for his efforts to promote democracy and national unity.
