Middle Income
"Middle income" refers to a classification of countries or individuals based on their economic status, typically measured by income levels. In the context of countries, the World Bank categorizes nations into low, middle, and high-income groups. Middle-income countries are further divided into lower-middle and upper-middle categories, based on their gross national income (GNI) per capita.
For individuals, middle income generally describes households earning between a certain range of income, which can vary by location. This group often has access to basic necessities, education, and healthcare, but may still face financial challenges compared to higher-income households.
