Michigan Central Station
Michigan Central Station is a historic train station located in Detroit, Michigan. Built in 1913, it was once one of the tallest train stations in the country and served as a major hub for passenger rail travel. The station features a distinctive Beaux-Arts architectural style and was designed by the architectural firm Warren and Wetmore.
After its closure in 1988, the station fell into disrepair and became a symbol of urban decay. However, in recent years, efforts have been made to restore the building, with plans to transform it into a center for innovation and technology, revitalizing the surrounding area.
