Michael Rother is a German musician and composer, best known as a founding member of the influential band Kraftwerk. Rother's work with Kraftwerk helped shape the genre of electronic music in the 1970s. After leaving Kraftwerk, Rother formed the band Neu! with drummer Klaus Dinger.
