Michael Morpurgo
Michael Morpurgo is a British author, best known for his children's books. Born on October 5, 1931, he has written over 100 stories, many of which explore themes of war, nature, and friendship. His most famous work, War Horse, tells the story of a horse's experiences during World War I and has been adapted into a successful stage play and film.
In addition to being an author, Morpurgo is also a former teacher and the co-founder of the charity Farms for City Children. This organization provides children from urban areas the opportunity to experience life on a farm, promoting a connection with nature and the countryside.
