Meteor Swarm
Meteor Swarm refers to a group of meteors that originate from the same source, typically a comet or asteroid. These meteors enter the Earth's atmosphere at high speeds, creating bright streaks of light known as meteors or "shooting stars." When many meteors are observed in a short period, it is often called a meteor shower.
Meteor swarms can occur at specific times of the year when Earth passes through the debris left by a comet. The most famous meteor showers, such as the Perseid and Geminid showers, are examples of meteor swarms that attract skywatchers worldwide.
