Messianic Movements
Messianic movements refer to religious movements that anticipate the arrival of a messiah, a savior figure who is believed to bring about significant change or salvation. These movements can be found in various cultures and religions, including Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Each tradition has its own interpretation of the messiah's role and the signs that indicate their coming.
In Judaism, the messiah is expected to be a human leader who will restore Israel and bring peace. In Christianity, Jesus is viewed as the messiah who has already come, while some groups await his second coming. Islam also recognizes a messianic figure, known as the Mahdi, who is expected to appear before the Day of Judgment.
