Messianic Judaism
Messianic Judaism is a religious movement that combines elements of Judaism and Christianity. Followers, known as Messianic Jews, believe that Jesus (referred to as Yeshua in Hebrew) is the promised Messiah of the Hebrew Scriptures. They observe traditional Jewish practices and celebrate Jewish holidays while also embracing the New Testament teachings.
Messianic Jews often worship in congregations that resemble both synagogues and churches. Their beliefs emphasize the importance of both the Torah and the New Testament, viewing them as complementary. This movement seeks to maintain Jewish identity while acknowledging the significance of Jesus in their faith.
