Mesh
Mesh refers to a network topology where each device, or node, connects directly to multiple other nodes. This structure allows for efficient data transmission and enhances network reliability, as the failure of one connection does not disrupt the entire network. Mesh networks are commonly used in wireless communication systems, such as Wi-Fi networks, to improve coverage and performance.
In addition to wireless applications, mesh can also describe materials made of interconnected strands, such as metal mesh or fabric mesh. These materials are often used in various industries for filtration, reinforcement, and protective applications due to their strength and flexibility.
