Merope
Merope is one of the seven daughters of Atlas in Greek mythology, known collectively as the Pleiades. She is often associated with the theme of love and loss, as she is said to have married Sisyphus, a mortal king.
In the night sky, Merope is represented as one of the stars in the Pleiades star cluster, located in the constellation Taurus. Unlike her sisters, Merope is sometimes depicted as dimmer, symbolizing her mortal connection and the sorrow of her story.
