Pleiades star cluster
The Pleiades star cluster, also known as the Seven Sisters, is a group of stars located in the constellation Taurus. It is one of the nearest star clusters to Earth, approximately 444 light-years away. The cluster contains over 1,000 stars, but only a few are visible to the naked eye.
The Pleiades is notable for its bright blue stars, which are young and hot, formed from the same molecular cloud. This cluster has been recognized in various cultures throughout history and is often associated with mythology and navigation.
