Meinhard II of Tyrol
Meinhard II of Tyrol was a nobleman who lived during the late 13th century. He was born around 1250 and became the Count of Tyrol in 1258. Meinhard II was known for his efforts to strengthen the region's economy and political stability, as well as for his strategic marriages that expanded his influence.
In 1286, Meinhard II married Elisabeth of Bavaria, which further solidified his power. He played a significant role in the politics of the Holy Roman Empire and was involved in various conflicts during his reign. Meinhard II passed away in 1295, leaving a lasting legacy in Tyrol.
