Megan Barry
Megan Barry is an American politician who served as the Mayor of Nashville, Tennessee from 2015 to 2018. She was the first woman to hold this position in the city's history. Before becoming mayor, Barry was a member of the Tennessee House of Representatives and worked on various community and economic development initiatives.
During her tenure as mayor, Barry focused on issues such as affordable housing, public transportation, and education. However, her time in office was marred by a scandal involving an extramarital affair with her former head of security, which ultimately led to her resignation in early 2018.
