Megalosaurus
Megalosaurus was a large carnivorous dinosaur that lived during the late Jurassic period, around 166 million years ago. It was one of the first dinosaurs to be scientifically described, with fossils found primarily in England. Megalosaurus could grow up to 30 feet long and had strong jaws filled with sharp teeth, making it an effective predator.
This dinosaur walked on two legs and had a long tail for balance. Its limbs were robust, allowing it to run and hunt for prey. Megalosaurus is often considered a member of the group called theropods, which includes other well-known dinosaurs like Tyrannosaurus rex and Velociraptor.
