Megalithic Culture
Megalithic Culture refers to the prehistoric societies that constructed large stone structures, known as megaliths, primarily during the Neolithic and Bronze Ages. These structures include dolmens, menhirs, and stone circles, which served various purposes, such as burial sites, ceremonial spaces, or astronomical observatories.
This culture was widespread across Europe, parts of Asia, and Africa, with notable examples like Stonehenge in England and the Carnac stones in France. The construction of these massive stone monuments reflects the social organization, religious beliefs, and technological capabilities of these ancient communities.
