Medieval Britain
Medieval Britain refers to the period from the 5th to the late 15th century, marked by the fall of the Roman Empire and the rise of feudalism. During this time, society was structured around a hierarchy of kings, nobles, and peasants. Castles and manors were common, serving as centers of power and agriculture.
The era saw significant events like the Norman Conquest in 1066, which brought William the Conqueror to the throne. The Black Death in the 14th century drastically reduced the population, leading to social and economic changes. The period ended with the Tudor dynasty beginning in 1485.
