Measuring Tape
A measuring tape is a flexible tool used to measure length or distance. It typically consists of a long strip of cloth, plastic, or metal marked with measurement units, such as inches or centimeters. Measuring tapes are commonly used in construction, sewing, and various DIY projects to ensure accurate measurements.
Most measuring tapes have a retractable design, allowing them to easily roll back into a casing for storage. They often feature a locking mechanism to hold the tape in place while measuring. Some models also include additional features, such as a built-in level or a magnetic end for convenience in measuring against metal surfaces.
