Maximinus Daia
Maximinus Daia was a Roman Emperor who ruled from 305 to 313 AD. He was born around 270 AD and was part of the Tetrarchy, a system of governance established by Diocletian to manage the vast Roman Empire. Maximinus Daia was known for his military prowess and was appointed as Caesar in the eastern provinces.
During his reign, Maximinus Daia was involved in conflicts against rival claimants to the throne, including Licinius and Constantine the Great. His rule was marked by religious persecution, particularly against Christians, which led to significant unrest. He ultimately lost power and died in 313 AD.
