Mauritius Botanical Garden
The Mauritius Botanical Garden, also known as the Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Garden, is located in Pamplemousses, Mauritius. Established in 1767, it is one of the oldest botanical gardens in the Southern Hemisphere. The garden spans over 60 acres and features a diverse collection of tropical plants, including the famous Giant Water Lily and various species of palms.
