Matthew Paris
Matthew Paris was a 13th-century English chronicler and monk, known for his detailed writings about the history of England. He was born around 1200 and spent much of his life at the St. Albans Abbey, where he became a prominent figure in the monastic community. His most famous work, the Chronica Majora, provides valuable insights into the political and social events of his time.
