Masolino
Masolino da Panicale was an Italian painter active during the early Renaissance, known for his contributions to the development of perspective and naturalism in art. He was born around 1383 and worked primarily in Tuscany, where he created frescoes and panel paintings that showcased his skill in depicting human figures and emotions.
One of his most notable works is the fresco cycle in the Basilica of Santa Maria del Carmine in Florence, which he completed in collaboration with Masaccio. Masolino's style is characterized by soft colors and delicate forms, reflecting the transition from the Gothic to the Renaissance artistic traditions.
