Maryland Circuit Courts
Maryland Circuit Courts are the trial courts of general jurisdiction in the state of Maryland. They handle a wide range of cases, including civil, criminal, family, and juvenile matters. Each of the 24 jurisdictions in Maryland has its own Circuit Court, which is responsible for hearing cases that exceed a certain monetary threshold or involve serious criminal offenses.
